The evolution of this NGO Named Kartar Nagar Welfare Association was begun in early Nineteen Ninety-Five. with The initiative of Sh. R.K. Dewan, Sh. J.K.Dhiman, Sh. Inder Dev Jindal ,Sh. Satpal Trehan, Sh. O.P.Verma, Sh. Sadhu Singh Dhaliwal all old residents of Kartar Nagar a noble cause initiated. As God’s grace all friends together initiated a drive to clean up the locality which was under bad shape due to miss management & improper Planning. All Engineer friends, officers in locality started taking initiative to develop area.
As per available records Initially started visiting door to door of Kartar Nagar residents for collecting donations for improvement of Kartar Nagar. They visited houses and able to take very thin amount & the task was huge. But they keep on moving and doing small efforts. As the time passed these friends keep on putting regular efforts and enjoyed their small success stories without any administrative support.
First start-up is to install a fountain in small park. After a long effort day, they can make fountain installed & proper working in small park on that day the complete team was geared up for this achievement and celebrated this on Sunday evening. As per Available records in pictures work done by this team was remarkable.At a very sad time the team lost key member Mr. R. K. Dewan in 2004 and the organization ground working came to halt. In year 2014 the new revival of Welfare association started with the efforts of new young team the successors of old founder team jointly come forward on call.
